Free assessment · June 1

Most gyms ask you to start. We ask you to measure.

FitnessEQ Day is a free, science-based assessment that scores your fitness across six facets. Not just strength. Not just cardio. Walk out in 15 minutes with a number, a map, and a plan.

7
The Standard

Seven is complete. One per facet, six facets earned. Most adults walk in scoring between a 3 and a 4.5. That's not failure. That's a map. The number tells you exactly where to train next.

Measure what matters

Six facets. One number.

Every fitness assessment you've ever taken measures one or two things. We measure six. Because complete fitness is the only fitness that lasts.

F

Flexibility

End-range capacity. The shapes your body can hold.

A

Agility

Coordinated reaction. Speed, balance, reflex, linked.

C

Core

Stability. The trunk that everything else moves through.

E

Endurance

Aerobic engine. How long, how hard, how far.

T

Tone

Body composition. The ratio of useful tissue.

S

Strength

Force production. What you can move under load.

What to expect

Fifteen minutes. Three stations.

FitnessEQ Day is built as an introduction to a new way of looking at your fitness. We're testing a lot in one day, so we run a fast partial assessment that gives you real numbers across a few of the facets.

01

Check-in + FEQ Briefing

You'll get our digital FEQ booklet to skim. The science, the test protocols, and how to read your score. No prep needed. We'll walk you through it.

2 min
02

InBody Composition Scan · Tone

A 50 kHz bioelectrical impedance scan. Body fat percentage, lean mass, visceral fat, segmental analysis. The honest number behind the bathroom scale.

2 min
03

Agility · 5-10-5 or 8ft Up-N-Go

Pick the test that fits you. The 5-10-5 shuttle measures lateral acceleration if you're built for sport. The 8ft Up-N-Go is the gold-standard functional mobility test and a strong predictor of fall risk after 60.

5 min
04

Core Endurance Hold · Plank

A timed forearm plank to failure. Not max strength, endurance. McGill's research shows this predicts low back resilience better than any other core test.

1-3 min
+

Optional: Cooper VO2 Test · Endurance

If you want it, we'll run you through the 12-minute Cooper Treadmill Test. VO2 max is the single best predictor of all-cause mortality. Higher VO2, longer life. Coach clearance required if you're 35+.

Partial FEQ
15min
Tone, Agility, Core. In and out in 15 minutes flat.
Partial FEQ + Cooper
30min
Adds VO2 max via the 12-minute Cooper Treadmill Test.

You'll walk out with your partial FEQ scorecard, the full digital FEQ booklet, and an honest read on which facet is your weakest. That's the one to train next.

Why this matters

You can't train what you don't measure.

VO2 max is the single best predictor of how long you'll live. Grip and lower-body strength predict disability after 60 better than any other metric. Plank endurance predicts low back resilience better than any other core test. The science isn't soft. The body keeps score whether you do or not. FitnessEQ Day gives you the score back.

"Lower scores aren't failure. They're a map."

Common questions

Things people ask first.

Is this really free?

Yes. FitnessEQ Day is free for first-time guests. No card required to book. No pitch designed to corner you. We're showing Houston what a real assessment looks like, and trusting that the work speaks for itself.

Do I need to be in shape to do this?

No. Most adults walk in scoring between a 3 and a 4.5 out of 7. That's the point. The number tells you where to start, not whether you should. Lower scores aren't failure. They're a map.

How long does it take?

The partial FEQ takes 15 minutes flat: Tone, Agility, Core. If you opt in for the Cooper VO2 test, plan for 30 minutes total.

What should I wear?

Whatever you train in. Athletic shoes required. Bring water. If you're doing the optional Cooper test, hydrate well in advance and skip caffeine within 90 minutes.

Where is FitnessEQ Day held?

Facet Seven Heights, 2505 W. 11th St, Houston, TX 77008. One location, one day, June 1.

What if I'm already a member?

FitnessEQ Day is open to current members too. Bring a friend who isn't one. The welcome offer is for first-time guests only, but every attendee enters the raffle.

What do I leave with?

Your partial FEQ scorecard with scores across the facets we tested, the full digital FEQ booklet (12 pages, includes self-administered protocols for the facets we don't get to that day), and an honest read on your lowest facet. The one to train next.
