PHYSICAL THERAPY HOUSTON

WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES AT OUR HEIGHTS AND EADO LOCATIONS.

DR. TYLER HUMPHREY, PT, DPT

Dr. Ty is the founder of Bulletproof Physical Therapy. He began practicing PT in 2014 after receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. He specializes in working with athletes, especially CrossFit, weightlifting, volleyball, and golf.

The main goal of physical therapy is to get you out of pain. At Bulletproof, we don’t stop there. After lowering your pain levels, we address the underlying issue. Our goal is to get you stronger, and moving better than ever. We want you to feel better than you did before your injury.

Dr. Ty’s Certifications:

Functional Movement Screen Level 1

ACL Mastermind Group Member

Titleist Performance Institute Level 1

Blood Flow Restriction Training

1 ON 1 CARE BY A DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

The traditional physical therapy model is broken. On average, the PT is treating 2-4 patients per hour. This results in the patient spending 10-15 minutes with their PT, and the other 45-50 minutes with someone unlicensed or an aide.

At Bulletproof, every session is 1 on 1 with a Dr. of physical therapy. No exceptions.

HAVE PAIN, BUT DONT WANT SURGERY?

Research has shown that quality rehabilitation is just as effective as surgery. And it’s much cheaper. Come see us if you are ready to get out of pain and back to doing what you want to do.

You can even use your Flex Spending Account and your Health Savings Account.

THE BULLETPROOF DIFFERENCE

Bulletproof is a different type of Physical Therapy. We don’t use the same low level, cookie cutter exercises prescribed by most PT clinics. Our clients have higher level goals, and require higher level treatments. If you’ve been frustrated by your lack of progress with the traditional PT model, then Bulletproof Physical Therapy is for you.

PHYSICAL THERAPY

ONE-ON-ONE CARE

We offer hands-on, evidence-based Physical Therapy. Unlike most other clinics, we treat our patients one-on-one, and you will only be seen by a Physical Therapist and not by an unlicensed PT tech or PT aide.

MANUAL THERAPY

Manual Therapy is an important part of our treatment, and we feel that it is essential to integrate manual treatment with exercises to get the best long-term outcomes. Research has shown that the combination of Manual Therapy and exercise is most successful for pain.

EXERCISE THERAPY

We start with corrective exercises that will correct your mobility and motor control restrictions. Then, we will start loading your body with strengthening and conditioning work to build resilience, which is the main ingredient to avoid future injuries.

MEDICAL FITNESS

STRENGTH & STAMINA

With our Medical Fitness Training, we will delve deep into building your fittest body. The treatments aim to not only shape you up, but also instruct and inform you in the right methods for weightlifting and other forms of exercise.
