Sawyer believes anyone is capable of training like an athlete, given the right plan and consistency. His specialty is General Physical Preparedness (GPP) — building strength, conditioning, explosiveness, and skill through movements like gymnastics and Olympic lifting. He has helped clients reach advanced athletic milestones, but is just as passionate about guiding people toward weight loss, longevity, and simply moving with more confidence in daily life. As a U.S. Army veteran, he earned the Army Achievement Medal after scoring above the maximum score on the Army Physical Fitness Test, an experience that shaped his discipline and training philosophy. Outside of coaching, he studied and speaks Arabic, he is married to a medical student, and is a huge foodie who also loves movies and TV shows. Clients train with him because they know they’ll get a mix of grit, variety, and support that makes them both stronger and more capable for whatever their goals may be.
